There is no substitute for talent! However, you have to play the game. What position do you play? Are you fast? How's your arm? May and take your position? Can beat you? Can hit for power? , Stay in the strike, Fielding, throw? And now you play?
All I can say is lift weights .... and stronger, especially in his upper body. Speak with your trainer designed for the lifting of the school for baseball!
With a high school and college coach in Southern California, children, throughout the year and play for an advantage over children from the Midwest, just as you are. If you can not move to a warmer climate, so that he can play again, his chances of playing Division 1 take some time. However, only limited by your stamina and determination to be a player at UCLA. Working hard to find sites to meet, walk and run in the low season and never lose sight of their dreams. It is a worthwhile goal!
Good luck!
